over the Christmas holidays I took some time to reflect on the last few months and also did some thinking regarding my progression on to degree level in September. I came to the conclusion that it was now time to step things up a gear and to move things forward, or more to the point - sideways. However, I felt that I needed a little direction and so spoke to Jamie. We both agreed that as it stands, I have achieved what I set out to at the start of the course - I have successfully produced and presented several radio shows and the regular one I am now doing is pretty much running itself as the format is the same. So rather than just banging out show after show it is time to see where else I can utilise these skills along with learning new ones so I have decided to focus my time elsewhere and am looking at voice overs,audio production within film,sound engineering for the band shoots and post production editing etc. I will need to set up some workshops with both Graham and Joe as this is virgin territory for me but I am looking forward to widening my horizons a little more and developing some new skills.
